Climbing an overhang in Scotland, protection came loose and I fell back into the face below, breaking both wrists simultaneously..

Painful journey off the rock face and 60 miles to nearest A&E..

Aside from that, had back pain so bad once that I literally couldn't stand up straight. It was sheer, unbridled agony

Had a burst appendix about 2 years ago.
Had to do without painkillers till after I had got my X-ray results.
Was in so much pain my effin and blinding cleared the a and e waiting room..they were all stood outside watching me through the windows,ha ha

How's your rehab been? Had the same surgery 2 months ago. No pain tho in my case, and no strange machines!

Did you have the hamstring graft?

I had the patellar tendon graft from the front of the knee, the pain is outrageous!

Was the choice of my surgeon mate it's a stronger graft but the recovery is longer/harder! I'm still [Poor language removed] 11 months later!

Barbed fishing hook (size 12!) pulled into my finger so only the line was showing.....my Grandad bless him, yanked a chunk of flesh and the hook out with tooth-nosed pliers. Fainted with the pain.
Breaking tibia, fibia and ankle and seeing my foot at 180 degrees was rather painful too...

Bit my lip the other day, then bit it twice again in the same place today. Nearly dropped an f-bomb in front of a bunch of kids I was looking after at school

Ah I see. Hope my recovery isn't that long! Already basically been out for a year, wanna be back playing before the end of the season. My doctor told me 6-9 months. I'd like to be back before that, but obs not gonna push it too hard...
