Is sensational. We talk about it a tad too much like bad obsessivers but frankly: its fcuking worth it.

Anyway, for our UK based brethren - book some time aside:

BBC NEWS | Entertainment | BBC Two to show US TV's The Wire


Starts Monday 30th March, I think theyre doing an episode a night and possibly all five series in one go.

It is boss TV.

Author Irvine Welsh called it "the best thing on TV. By far. Nothing's close to it".

the wire starts tomorrow night on bbc2, not sure if it's every night as chico said , but am gonna watch it to see what all the fuss is about, good news is if it's bbc you should be able to catch up on virgin or bbc iplayer.

or if you like it you could just download it all, do the episodes roll through or is it a different story every episode ? meaning if you miss one your lost ?

good job i'm on virginmedia then, 50mb broadband will have it in a jif, or catch up tv, i can take my pick.

no guesses why howard marks there needs to watch police techniques for catchin' pushers.
