As the Forums resident movie Buff, pains me to say I've not watched this properly yet.

It is one of the best horror movies I've seen.

Critically acclaimed although it seems like the budget troubles the studio were in at the time affected the editing process.

The ending is chilling, perhaps one of the worst\(best?) endings I've seen. All the way through you really get the feeling he is at the end of a string bring pawed at by a cat.

Britt Ekland also had all her dialogue dubbed by a scottish actress because of her swedish accent.

Meaning she probably holds a record for the actor to do the least ammount of her actual role.

To be fair to Nicolas Cage, you know what you're getting from him. I like, that in spite of him being related to one of Hollywoods biggest names, it hasn't held him back.
