I love the way the Mail, does it`s level best to scare the life out of all the pensioners who read it, with headlines like " BEAST FROM THE EAST SNOW BOMB TO HIT UK "

I had mates over that way, who lived not far from Hull in old farm house they were doing up at the time, when it hit.
Virtually everyone who lived around there got snowed in for the best part of week, which meant people who’s pipes had burst couldn’t do anything other than turn the water off, as the plumbers couldn’t get to them.
The snow was higher than their hedges.
They bought a 4x4 pretty soon after that
Turbo-cold and pitch black. The dog is demanding a walk. Why can't he be sane like the cat and decide warmth and indoors are the immediate future?
