Took me about an hour to get the ads back (using a new browser and it's got adblock settings in about 3 places)... but i *think* it should be sorted now, since GOT is apparently trying to sell me a Skoda.

EDIT: FFS. I'm staring at an ad AND the red badge on the same fupping screen.

Mozilla Firefox and uBlock Origin are the way forward these days. I turn it off for a GOT, but it’s superb for YouTube. Haven’t seen an advert since I installed it.

Chrome is garbage these days.

It takes about an hour I think before it vanishes lol
