We (everton) aren't any more unlucky/get more injuries/get worse officiating than anyone else, all teams below the big ones in this league get the rubbish end of the stick in terms of officiating. The whole 'everton that' mentality is just a by-product of our fanbase being 99% miserable old fellas (just the way I like it mind) and that the we remember the bad times more than the good ones.
