I can't believe it. I am trying logically to figure out how he wins this one.Just think, a featherweight is headlining a card at weltwerweight having completely skipped 155. It's mental.
Agreed.
Funny how his career so far has mirrored the current best ever (you'll disagree) in Anderson Silva.
Couple of early losses, fought over this side of the pond before an amazing knockout (McGregor vs Buchiger and Silva that elbow), then getting signed by the UFC, being fast tracked to a title shot and winning the belt
Oh thought you'd said before that it was GSP.Why are you so sure I'll disagree? I think it's tough to call it between him and Jones, maybe GSP. Silva in his prime was more exciting and lethal but in my opinion Jones has faced better competition and is unbeaten if you ignore a nonsense rule. Having said that GSP arguably fought the best competition of the three.
That is actually mad when you put it that way. I was denying it prior to the Aldo fight but I'm all aboard the McGregor hype train now.
Punches Diaz with his left hand repeatedlyI can't believe it. I am trying logically to figure out how he wins this one.
Could work...Punches Diaz with his left hand repeatedly

Think with Anderson its the things he did in there that set him apart, like you'll see people dominate their divisions like GSP and Fedor again, doubt we'll ever see anyone replicate, say, the Griffin fight. But if Jon Jones comes back, wins back his belt, then defends it against Gus and AJ before moving up to heavyweight, I think he edges it. Mad thing is, when Silva was 28 he was 3 years away from debut in the UFC, Jones is 28 and he's already cleaned out his division twice

Jones got defeated by the worst ref ever. Dana talking about him was hilarious years ago.

Probably did, these days I forget what's my actual opinion and what I just say to play devil's advocate. I do agree. Jones has dominated fights but against Bonnar, Leben, Griffin etc. Silva actually made his opponents look so silly they had no business being in the UFC never mind a title fight. Scary.
Are you in that prediction league @803 Toffee made a while ago?
It's still going if anyone wants to join. I've managed to poop the bed these last few events.![]()
To be fair, on that occasion he was right. Just the rule that's stupid.

He should have stopped that fight minutes earlier, Jones kept looking at him while he was pounding down on him to stop it.
Ah I see what you mean. The funniest part was when he started speaking to Matt Hammil even though he's deaf.
