Chuckling at Joe Rogan trying to convince everyone how terrible and out of order the scrap after the fight was, I look forward to him talking enthusiastically about it on his podcast for 3 hours.

This is UFC, its a sport (or rather MMA is) where people web and volley each other in the face for 25 minutes to a crowd baying for blood... am I seriously meant to all of a sudden believe that some half arsed scrap (and lets be honest, thats all it really was) after the fight is going to damage the sport ? Its a sport with a massive thug element, the fans love this [Poor language removed] even if some of the purists try and pretend they don't.

If he doesn't then that's a joke. What McGregor did in Brooklyn was 10x worse yet he they bent over backwards to help him get out of his legal jams and get back in the cage ASAP. Dana White and the UFC top brass are despicable people with zero class.

Yeh the ufc probably wouldn't ban him for that long but can see him getting a long ban by athletic commission

I didn’t say he’s ever attacked someone recieving medical treatment, just that he’s done at least two things equally bad as what Khabib did last night. Such as jumping into the cage in a fight (and promotion) he’s not involved in to attack a referee who’s trying to give someone medical help. Which I linked you evidence of. Surely the equivalent, relatively, no?

As I said, his cornermen who attacked McGregor are a disgrace and should be severely punished. Although he did throw the first punch inside the cage.

The way Holloway stepped it up in the 4th was unreal, Conor wont take the fight cos he's already beat him once, but I think that'd be a great fight if they did it. I'd back Max all day. See Dana is talking about him stepping up to 155, there are some big money fights there for him really. I suspect it's to try and get the Conor fight though.

That cut that Nelson put on cowboy and then squeezed the blood out of him was horrific. 29 stitches! It was a good fight but cowboy grabbed the fence to stop an obvious takedown and also hit Nelson with obvious back of the head elbows, they need to be stricter with the refereeing. They were fight changing fouls.

Manuwa always looked on the losing end of that fight really, but it was a great slugfest.

I enjoyed those 3 fights, wasn't as bothered with the other 2 main card ones and didn't watch the prelims to be fair.

Probably not the right thread but there is a major story involving an Irish MMA fighter doing the rounds in the Irish media about an alleged sexual assault at a Dublin hotel. He can't be named unless victim waives her right to annonimity but will be almost impossible to keep out of the ether.
