Left hook to the head. Game over.Trying to think of a way McGregor beats Khabib but struggling to be honest.
Very much like Mayweather/Pacquaio, where one style is tailor made for another.

Left straight as he comes in. That simple. McGregor is not tailor made for Khabib at all as he slides and counters extremely well e.g. vs Aldo, Alvarez and Buchinger. McGregor’s distance control is brilliant so at some point Khabib will have to close the distance using foot speed when the single leg is out of reach and expose himself.
If Khabib gets hold of him even with one finger it’ll be a mauling obviously. But every fight starts on the feet and McGregor definitely has the timing and guile to put him asleep.
The problem is that you have to commit to such a punch to get knockout power behind it - if he lands it, he has to knock the fella out, because if not Khabib grabs him. And Khabib has never been really hurt from what I can tell.
So we have a boxer vs. wrestler (albeit both being MMA of course but you get what I mean in this context); that's what I mean by tailor made for him, because as long as the wrestler has the ability to walk through one shot at most to get inside, he usually wins the fight.
Admittedly I may be overrating Khabib, but to me he's frighteningly good. I've never seen anyone do what he does on the ground in terms of control of an opponent. He's a freak in that regard - like a human flytrap.
