I thought Gustafsson won the first fight againsts Jones and I think Jones is looking at it and think that fight was soo close that he doesn't want to get in there with him again.

DC maybe undefeated but with the size between him and Jones unless he gets JBJ on the floor I can just see him on the end of Jones jab for 5 rounds.

I genuinely think when Jones fights Gustafsson again that Gustafsson will walk away with the title.

Dana used to go on about how boxing was killed because people started ducking each other not giving the people the fights they want, and now that's happening in UFC. Look at Silva dodging Sonnen

Yeah gutted about the Silva-Sonnen thing. Belfort will just run through Sonnen, Sonnen-Silva was a better fight and had more to it. Silva should be thrown out completely, he's lost the plot. I met him in Vegas 'sort of', prior to Henderson knocking him out, and he's not all there and his entourage and following was weird. He's built a reputation from being brutal against people who shouldn't have been in the ring with him.

DC has good boxing and a good work rate, I think he's smarter than to let Jones fight at distance. He's also a heavy guy, and I think he'll take Jones down and dominate him. Once Jones has the threat of someone taking him down, his striking game will have to be different.

I hope Gus beats Jones, but I think Jones will come better prepared and Gus seems to take too many chances in fights.

Thing is, if Jones DOES lose to Gustafsson, but it's a really close fight, he'll make a mint in the rubber match

Totally agree, been saying for years he would be unbeatable at LHW. The way he controlled Barnett was unreal the other year.

Does anyone watch Bellator or WSOF mma is widespread and as much as people can hate on the UFC its the cream of MMA. I have been following MMA since 2001 and I have to say what a pleasure it has been to watch a sport evolve in front of my eyes. I love boxing and always will, one thing that lets MMA down are wrestlers that lie on top of you for 3 rounds. hate that [Poor language removed].

I miss Pride where fighting was fighting not wrestling.

You'd never have an athletic commision in the US agree to that lol

Shame Saku was so broken down when the UFC bought PRIDE out, because I would have been very interested to see how he did against the UFC's best

Gutted we never got Fedor Vs Randy though. Gutted isn't the word

taking someone down who is right in front of you/ties up or backs up in straight lines isn't a problem but when you fight against someone who works the angles and circles,it is extremely difficult even for an accomplished freestyle wrestlers.
