Don't remember the 62-63 season as only 3 & 4 but remember 66 final and everything after it. Remember feeling hard done by when we hadn't won a trophy for 14 years between 70 and 84 although the barren years seen some close calls. We always had something to shout about

League cup final
Couple of fa cup semi's.
And a good League campaign or two.
Compared to the current mess ,it wasn't near as bad.

Been going since early eightees when I was a kid never stopped going since.. started amazing...then mostly down hill .. best ever game been Munich.. closely by sharps goal at anfield..

Born in 67 and started going to the match early 70s so seen a lot of real good times back then. Feel sorry for the younger generations though who have only experienced mediocrity and the downfall of what used to be a club to be very proud of.

Born 70, first game week of my 3rd birthday, never missed a home game until 2004, still going. Used to go to 'local' aways from 5 then going to aways regularly from 10 until around same time as I missed my first home game aged 34. Don't get to many aways now, better things to waste my money on.

Love them.
Hate them.

Koff Everton

I've seen us win the 'kin lot! (Apart from the league cup)

And in 46 years ive seen us in 4 real relegation battles Coventry, Wimbledon, Palace, Bournemouth.

So when people say i would take 17th next season, nah, I will only accept that the likes of now but i wont be starting the season thinking il be happy with 17th, never!

League Champions
Fa Cup
European Trophy
Charity Sheilds

That was Beards ago tho.

My lad ( who is rapidly losing interest) is 26 yrs old and seen .....Zilch.
My lad is 11, and getting more and more invested in Everton. However, I see him watching ManCity games as well with some longing in his heart and feel something similar to cuckolded.

Seen the 85 team as an 8 year old. Old enough to know what it was and remember. Not old enough to appreciate it properly.

Only 5 have seen us relegated, let's hope this number doesn't go up on Sunday, and the 5 become legends like the last of the first world war veterans. Maybe they could do a charity walk from Bramley Moore to Goodison with their zimmer frames?
