GN!

Player Valuation: £5m
So thinking about different ways for a trophy, I propose the following

Replace the league table with a championship belt.

So Man City as carryover champions hold the belt. So similar to boxing the next team to play them is a challenger.

Like boxing the champ get select their challenger with a few modifications.

The champion can only pick non top 10 ranked sides once before taking a challenge from the top 10 to save the champs just picking crap teams. The other sides play each other to build their resumes for their ranking.

Challengers formally challenge the champ each week via whatever medium they choose and the champ selects who they play.

You can’t challenge more than twice in a season.

If a challenger wins the match they become champs.

Whoever holds the belt at the end of year is the annual champion

Stopped reading as soon as you suggested a change.

It means football will have stopped again and have been created without history just like 1992 - which is when it started according to some broadcasters.

Not that our history since is anything to worry about losing.
