morning bally lad,great read as ever mate. trevor would get in every everton team ive seen.the 69,70team included,be it in front of johny moggs or jimmy husband, trevor never had 1 weakness in his game . trevor is now a full time agent and has many big time players on his books .once again thanks for the read bally

Palace fan here.I tell my lad, who is a Blue,but who didn't get to Goodison until 1995, that Trevor Steven was one of the most naturally gifted (and aside from Evertonians) underated players of his generation. Elegance personified,and entirely suited to the traditions of the School of Science.
 
Brilliant read. What would we give for a player of Trevor Steven's calibre down our awful right hand side right now.
