I'm failing to see the issue, he's an excellent player. You also have to look at resale value, he's most probably going to get better and more estabilished playing for a bigger side so yeah, people need to sort their heads out.

Oh and Cazorla went properly missing for a large part of last season as much and we'd seem to make out he's out of the world.

Do you not see how absurd it is saying that a 19 year old with no experience outside of Belgium who you've not really watched is the 'type of player we need' ?

This isn't FIFA.

He did score 12 goals in his first season

Fair enough he is young and unproven but I failing to see what McCarthy has done to cost 11m

My best estimate would be somewhere around £15 million. All guesswork though.
