He fitter, he can run all day, he younger, he good enough for this league, he is a good passer, he can defend and attack. But I do agree that he will be overprice and will not give us value. I would pay up to 8 million for him which wouldn't be enough. He only cost Wigan 1.2 million so it a good sign that Martinez can finds cheap gems.

Can you tell me what you thought of him during Wigan's 3-0 loss to Newcastle this season?

Or in their 3-2 loss to Swansea. In particular his part in their 3rd goal.

For me McCarthy is vastly overrated here. I think he's ok with potential to improve. If we want to keep our top 6/7 statue, we shouldn't be looking to sign someone like him because he won't improve our starting 11 (I think Osman is better than him; overall ability).

Cant remember the mistake but all players make mistakes, I do remember his run for the goal which was good, but he not a defender so its not really his job to clear the line. He is an under-rated player and will improve in a much better team. Didn't see the Newcastle game.

For me we could and hopefully will get much better players than him in.

And hang on. Because he's not a defender he can't be at fault for a goal?
 
He's going to Napoli when they sell Cavani, and its also going to be at least double £7m. Cant believe he got paid to write that ****e.

Every player is at fault for a goal at some point. Unless he's doing it all the time I don't think you can really hold it against him.
