£10m and circa £100k p/w for those three is a good deal IMO. We are in desperate need of numbers and Martinez has said he likes to rotate his squad, which is one thing 90% of Evertonians bemoaned Moyes for not doing. I suspect having a bigger squad will enable us to give the cups a bit of a better shot as our players ain't be so knackered all of the time.

These players strike me as good enough for the first team but not so big that they'll get unhappy if they're not paying week in week out. Exactly what you need from squad players.

Listen what will be will be it's better than no players . We have saved about 4 million when we get rid of heitinga which can be put to Honda maybe . Kone yes he's old but he will get a few goals and he won't break the bank . My thinking is if Kone is brought then we will give jelavic until January to get the goals then if not we sell and buy a 10 million plus striker . It wouldn't be a bad window if Fellaini stayed and in came Honda Kone Alcaraz and McGeady . Don't forget we should save some money for January

Ok, let's not get into a panic. The 1st of July is upon us and that's when sh1t gets real. We are only listening to paper speculation at the moment and you never know, maybe Kone will fail the medical on a dodgy toenail. Once Monday is here we will know more.

One of the most ridiculous comments ive ever read on a forum haha! Like top managers only try to win cups when they are new in their jobs. Wenger, Fergie, Benitez...didnt want to win the FA cup last year...theyve already won enough and fancied giving Martinez a shot.

Maybe people should stop crying about other people having concerns that we may be about to spend £4m on Aiden McGeady. For many, this isn't a knee-jerk reaction. It's exactly the type of signing we worried about when Moyes announced he was leaving.

Can someone please tell me when anything less that £25M wasnt a gamble on any player? Yes the more you pay the more likely you are they will succeed. But ask Man U how good Veron was. Arsenal paid 250k for fabregas, theres no rules and speunking ****loads of cash doesnt guarantee anyone a quality player.

Transfers are a risk to any club at any price.
