Gylfi is a free kick specialist if i remember correctly too. We already have Baines for that so you'd be limiting one of his biggest assets when he had just joined the club, a bit like Spurs are doing as the have Bale but he's probably just as good as Gylfi at them. I was really impressed with him at Reading but he hasn't shown it much at Spurs. He's only 23 though and he is a player which is of the Martinez mould a little.

I'm firmly in the no more negotiations with Spurs camp. Whether we like it or not, Levy knows what he's doing in that department. He can't sign a world class striker to save his life but he knows how to rob clubs blind.

I tell you what, with Spurs on the brink of signing Paulinho, their midfield is well over-crowded. I'd stick a cheeky bid in for Sigurdsson. Think he is a class act who had limited playing time last year, with even less this year if AVB is going to play this 4-3-3 formation that Spurs fans reckon.

Agree, 3/4/5m I would take him, he looks a good powerful midfielder, can't see Spurs letting him go though for the same reasons.
