I have watched Swansea a lot and have many Swansea city friends as I come from South Wales. Sinclair is so over rated- he got found out when he came to premiership. Swansea could not believe that City wanted him. I hope that we stay far away from him.

Redmond has a lot of potential, and I don't rate Mertens as highly as some people seem to. I'd have Redmond for his potential

The same scaredy cat argument could have been made when we signed Fellaini, except Fellaini was far less proven than Negredo.

We need more Fellaini's and less Steven Naismith's.

Because I'm from South Wales, I was able to watch him live a few times at the liberty, my brother STH I would go watch a game now an then.

With regards to stats they don't tell the full story, how many of his goals were from penalties?

Mirallas is hardly going to say, yeh my team mate isnt the best, avoid him.

Its like asking Michael Owen is Emile Heskey any good, what I take from that is you havent actually seen the players play much if at all.

As I have said. Enough for me to think they are good plus they have good reputation and there are reasons why.

I oppose the idea of signing two or three unproven young players because I think it will not pay off. We need players to improve the first team now. I just don't see a team that want to be in the top 6, merely sign a few Championship players as major signings. This ain't FM, big money is needed to sign players that will move this club forward. I just don't buy the "potential" talk. Cadmarteri had potential, Jevons had potential, even a few here thought Kissock was a good player with huge potential. What are they now?

There are reasons why that rich Italian team go for Mertens but not Redmond. Wait and see the next move for this kid, it won't be a big club. His stats do not warrant him a big move.

Martinez seems to be a kind of fella who thinks far away to future. he probs will sign one or two potential ones and hopefully doesnt stop there...we need opening XI material too. He wants to take us to the CL. He will make signings that will lift us, im sure
