Madrid must be laughing their socks off. They sold an outcast in Ozil last season for £40m+ and now they're selling another one for £63m+

It's an embarrassment to the Premier League really.

That's what they're worth...it's as simple as that there's nothing more to it. It won't even go that far to funding their 90 odd mill for Bale or 70 odd mill for James etc.

this summer they have signed Shaw, Rojo, and they are getting Blind, all predominantly left sided defenders. Bit odd, especially when they play with three centre backs, not convinced Blind is the answer just in front of the defence.

Rojo has a potential court case hanging over him back in Argentina for bottling someone. Min of 1 yr in jail apparently.

But they really are panicking as they're about to offer Smalling an improved contract too to put him on a par with Jones. Unbelievable. Next someone will tell me that Rooney is on £300k a week .........

If United are going to use the same formation / system that Holland used in the world cup, ADM is an utterly pointless signing.

Logic therefore tells us that if they DO buy ADM they must obviously not be planning to use that formation. Which would kinda make sense, because they don't have a RWB or enough decent CBs. Flat back four?

Absolutely shocking that they're prepared to pay £65m for Di Maria. There's no way he'd get anywhere near a world 11 and for that kind of money you'd expect that at least. Madrid probably can't believe their luck

Wasnt Di Maria getting dogs abuse from Madrid fans last year? Or have I misheard that?

Pretty sure it was mentioned during the WC.

Assume that Arsenal will have to get another striker if true - Remy?

@red1 any rumours on the Arsenal sites about this?

There's a lot of discussion about Danny Welbeck, I would love him here but it's never going to happen I think. We want a CL place as much as United, it would make no sense for them to sell to us. Cerci is another one but I hope we don't get him. Remy is another one too, I have mixed feelings about him but it's better than no replacement striker. Giroud being out means we must get another striker in to stand a chance of a CL place.
