1. Religion
2. Guns (and more generally, protecting their constitution)
3. Their military
4. Their firefighters, who are heroes in most eyes, esp the NYC firefights who gave their lives to save others
5. Getting justice for 9/11

Didn't Lampard make reference to how a 47 storey building (WTC7), which was NOT hit by an aeroplane, collapsed at free fall speed? At the time, his comments upset some folks who were reluctant to contemplate that some MIGHTY suss things happened on 9/11. I think though, that Lampard should be ok now, as quite a few Yanks now share his incredulity.
