Still amazes me. Thought he might go but always thought he'd prefer a chance at winning more stuff in Spain. By default is this new team that has Villa and maybe Lampard favourites for the title?

Money talks I guess and to be fair Villa has already won everything. This New York side will be a big force in the MLS in the coming seasons but surely the MLS wage restrictions would stop them from doing so.
