The Stadium and Global Warming ..

I appreciate that this guy is so concerned about the climate. Not entirely sure how sea level rising means the biggest issue would be evertons new stadium given the other threats and difficulties the rising sea levels would cause... seems a bit of an odd 9ne to single out.

What a load of old tosh. If the stadium would be at risk of being submerged then so would the whole waterfront. I sense a kopite mole in Manchester Uni......

A kopite colleague today in work tried to start an argument/bit of banter by saying to me on our break;

"Have you seen what the experts are saying? That any new ground on that site will end up under water and harm the environment? Another reason why the council making sure you lot get a new ground is bulls***."

My response;

"Who are you now lad, Greenpeace? In that case then go chain yourself to a tree and tell people how you hate the fact we're getting a boss stadium."

This lad normally always has an opinion on everything and won't ever concede defeat in argument but for once he genuinely had no reply, he knew he had been truly bested by a blue. Walked away leaving another colleague in stitches and feeling proud of myself. Always great shutting a mouthy RS up.

Have the ground like a submarine and on match day it can rise Through the Mersey like the kraken, on top of the mainstand there is a 100 ft statue of neptune( with Hibbert face on) urinating on the away end.
It's green and entertaining
