It's slowing down my machine big time. I usually have a few topics open at once and that's really difficult at the moment.

Look lets end this now. PC's are no offence built for the man who wants a simple computer to do simple things. But when you install the OS, you need to install virus protection, firewall, adware. You have like 10 different icons in the dock, at least 2 or 3 for the internet. Its designed for the layman, but you ask the layman to fix any issues which arise because of its lack of user friendly features.

A Mac is specialised, its for people like me, those who need more power, and need to get things done quickly, but also for reliability. No suprise that MI5, CIA, and other top agencies run on Mac's.

Yes they used Macs since before computers. We sheep just require something to get us on to the web and remain blissfully unaware of the remaining specs

You got the simple bit spot on there mate. I was looking at them yesterday and was impressed that theres no tower. Its all in the screen, they look far sexier too.

They are like the Nazi's. Totally under the spell. Apple is king, always will be. Why? Because they create OS, Units, Phones, MP3 Players, etc.....

Anyone got the SP1 for Vista yet? Nope, don't expect it for months, ah I'm rambling and this [Poor language removed] snow is doing my head in. See you in January.

XP isn't a browser. I'm not viewing this on an OS. This is on Safari. On FF there are showing up errors.

Well I'm just trying to be of assistance. I have to create website's for the masses who still think IE is the best browser on the planet. So I think people like me who use Standard compliant browsers should also have the same consideration.

Its causing me to not want to come here at the moment.

Yeah, but I usually work in Safari because I test my CSS in it for my developments. So its easier to use Safari to read here. But not at the moment, this snow is causing me all kind of problems, and I can understand not wanting to change it for one person, not expecting that.

But perhaps the Apple Mac community shouldn't be alienated when we are trying to raise the profile of the club.

My darling old one snuffed it, it is now an ex pc. Don't ask me for specs all I can confirm is that i am sat in front of a slim line screen with graphics I can at least read on a brand new computer that I have had a hell of a job sorting out with Curry's, the nobhead shop.
