Ive been waiting for that for a while.

Firstly the disclaimer, choose any one from:

* It was only Sunderland, lets not get too excited.
* I'd like to see Yakubu play like that against better opposition
* I'm not getting excited as Portsmouth will probably beat us next week.
* This is a conspiracy from Wyness and Kenwright to take the attention away from the stadium. They slipped steds in the players' pre match drinks.

Some bits Im liking at the minute:

* Since we've reverted back to 4-5-1 we've look a lot more comfortable, and its not just grinding us 1-0s like a couple of years ago.
* We have, at last, decent quality on the bench and competition for places in all areas on the pitch - its showing.
* Cahill: We are not the same team without him, simple as. 5 goals in 7 games.
* Pienaar: If its 2.5 million get him snapped up, now.
* Attacking football on the ground. After the diet of gash we've been fed over the last couple of years this is very welcome.

Take a bow Mr Moyes.

Great post mate, got to agree with all of that. We've grown into the 451/433 system and evolved, it seems to suit most of the players in the team. Just a pity we can't work a system with any 2 of our 5 fantastic strikers instead of 1, but I guess Moyes is working on that one.

352 anyone?

The reason we are doing well with 4-5-1 is because the wing back are supporting the attack and Carsley is breaking down there attack between the midfield and the defence!

If we play 3-5-2 it would restrict the defence from supporting the attack and weaken our defence, we have a pretty strong attacking minded defence line up at the moment, so I doubt 3-5-2 would suit us better than 4-5-1

This 4-5-1 looks great. The way is should be played. A 4-3-3 in attack ect.

My concern is our 5 strikers. 5 into 1 does not go. I will look with interest over the next few weeks at how Moyes plays this one.

Just on the 4-5-1 senario ..... does anyone think that we should cash in on mcfadden with celtic sniffing around. Surely he'll be surplus to requirements ........ Dont know what you all think but 4-5 million for him and i'd let him go.

 :D :P  :D

It doesn`t matter who we where playing, to score seven in a game was superb especially as we where already a few up DM put two attacking subs on, so hats off to the manager.I think the first bit of business this January is to tie Peanut to a permanant deal, I believe we have an agreement for 2mil, if it happens I think its another great deal for Everton and Moyes.
