The Semi Final Referee

If he lives that close to Manchester then chances are he is a City fan so give him the game I say. Now if the ref for the derby is someone called Jan Olufson then I will get behind any campaign anyone wishes to start as that would be wrong.

There is a serious side to this decision. Basically its being admitted that refs can be biased. Amazing how Clattenburg was still getting appointed to RS games even when it was known he was a good friend Of Gerrard's and a RS.

Oh yeah - well he'd better improve on some of his other performances in the middle especially where we are involved. West Ham (home), (away - sent off Cole and Gibson), Baines' non-pen at Cardiff to name but three. God alone knows how he's a FIFA ref.

Doesn't matter we'll smash them!

I live 3 minutes walk from Elland Road. When Leeds United score I can hear the cheer from home.

Why am I at home, you ask? Because despite living less than a mile from the ground, I don't care about Leeds United.

So what?

Do you seriously think that Taylor doesn't have a Manchester Premier League team he prefers? He's supposed to be an Altrincham fan, but it's not too hard to believe that all of his mates will support City or United. He may have family members who support them, and will probably know some United fans who are going to Wembley for the game.

So why has he been the ref when we played City earlier on in the season, and now picked for this before they even knew whether it was West Ham or Man United.

The original poster has a perfectly valid point here in my opinion.
