Nah he won't survive this, he's England manager and in that role you serve as the public face of the FA (because the rest of them are too cowardly to face the media and the public unless forced too). For him to be caught talking about ways to get around their imposed rules and making a mockery of their authority makes his position untenable, he will be gone this week. Just who do they get to replace him though? He only got the job himself a few months by default really.

Interesting sidenote, one of the things he said led to the discussion of this possible theory.
