I like looking back at stuff from it pre-season 6, mad when you see just how good that show used to be
While I'm instinctively republican and used to be passionately anti-Royalist, I look around the world these days and I'm not sure any of the alternatives are particularly any better. That anyone is born into that level of privilege disgusts me on a base level, but I suppose for some of them there's a lot of duty that comes with it. I'm far from a rich man but I wouldn't swap places with them. I don't feel anywhere near as strongly about them as I once did.
The civil list could do with an absolutely massive cull though. All those Earls and Viscounts and what have you. Bin.

I only started binge-watching it once it had finished so I didn't have to wait for the next seasons. I'm on season 4 and have absolutely loved it so far.
It's gonna turn to crap, isn't it?
In my opinion mate, season 5 dipped but still had me watching, after that I started losing interest and looking at how much time was left on the episode. Plenty of others still loved it though and it's still worth a watch, but nowhere near the genuine brilliance of the first 4 seasons
