And Real Madrid brought back AncelottiFunny enough they do.
Different ways, different levels.
Arsenal brought Arteta back, he played for them.
Liverpool brought Daglish back. (Levels eh, sacked him after reaching two cup finals and winning the League cup).
Chelsea brought back Mourinho.
Man Utd brought back Solskjaer.
West Ham brought back, erm, Moyes.
That's just a little list off the top of my head.
Ipswich are in the relegation zone and have 16 points from 20 games. That’s 31 points over a season. 33/34 points should keep you up. The bottom 3 are badNot sure about the idea that the league is ‘bad’. I also think it’s quite a tough job to keep us up this year.
I’ve grown to irrationally despise the thing.I honestly believe that the stadium was one of the worst thing to happen to us short term.
It allowed everyone to finally accept the excuses that kenwright and his lot had been peddling for year. We as a fan base accepted being in relegation battels because of of "the stadium".
After every issue the club had the next day "oh, look at the new video of the stadium". We accepted it because we knew what the stadium ment in the long run but once youve let those standards slip its hard to get them back
Do you understand PSR limitations? Mentality has to fit with that currently. History bears no correlation to our current footing.
Also, if you think Moyes is bottom of the barrel, I suggest you compare his Premier League stats with Dyche, to see bottom of the barrel.
Maybe it’s because I’m 27 and my best footballing memories were watching us under Moyes but I’ve been so shocked at the negative reaction to his appointment. He’s 10x the manager Dyche is and actually gives a toss about the club which is a big positive in the position we’re in. Genuinely think going full circle could be what helps us turn a corner and have a brighter future ahead.
James Vaughan as well.Rodwell, Gosling, Big Vic all used under him
He was our manager for 11 years for starters and he’s been desperate for the job again for a good few years now. He clearly has an affinity for the club and understands the fanbase/Goodison crowd. Dyche didn’t ‘get’ Everton and that was ultimately part of his downfall with his bizarre comments in recent weeks.Honest question - what makes you say "he actually gives a toss about the club"?
And we turn to the bottom of the barrel, Seriously?I just don't understand this mentality. We are a historic great club going into a great stadium with new billionaire owners. We weren't paying Dyche peanuts. There's no big pay off. And we turn to the bottom of the barrel for someone with zero hope and optimism. And what 2/3 of the fans on here are accepting or happy? Absolutely blows my mind. Clearly many don't remember the days when the club had something about it.
