if you wernt a season ticket holder , you got a priority voucher at an unannounced home match , remember my 1st one I got against Middlesboro - chuffed , hid it and checked it was there daily !

Remember joe Parkinson turning out for Everton against Leicester in a relegation battle. He could hardly walk let alone run but we were in the mire and he stood up to be counted. Can you honestly imagine any of this lot today doing the same?

His last ever game for us that, I think.

We all called him Joe (dont know that was his actual name or what) and sometimes chanted his name in time to his steps as he and his mate on the other end, passed by The Gwladys - Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe.
They used to come round at 2.50 and at half time with the next weeks wrestling bill at the stadium
