I have us 6th via here

The only certainty is that everything is uncertain ...but getting any kind of result at Spurs would be a plus. We are far better than WBA, and yet they got a draw with the RS and could have won. The RS defence looks very fragile, and will cost them points in unlikely games. When everyone is fit, we are a strong squad, not in numbers, but in quality. This is one of the ways Martinez has been very clever. There are no certainties..but I would go as far as forecasting that we will be in the mix for 4th to 6th, and maybe 3rd.

We still have 14 games in the league:
Spurs (A) 1
Palace (H) 3
Chelsea (A) 0
West Ham (H) 3
Newcastle (A) 0
Cardiff (H) 3
Swansea (H) 1
Fulham (A) 1
Arsenal (H) 1
Sunderland (A) 3
United (H) 3
Southampton (A) 3
City (H) 1
Hull (A) 3

I have 26 points from that. Gives us 71.

Spurs (A) - 1
Palace (H) - 3
Chelsea (A) - 0
West Ham (H) - 3
Newcastle (A) - 1
Cardiff (H) - 3
Swansea (H) - 3
Fulham (A) - 1
Arsenal (H) - 1
Sunderland (A) - 3
United (H) - 1
Southampton (A) - 3
City (H) - 0
Hull (A) - 3

I predict 26 points, unfortunately we're probably gonna need to do better than that to get 4th. Turn one or two draws into wins!

...and I don't disagree about prediction threads.

In the last one we had, EVERYONE had the Sunderland (H) as a guaranteed three points.

Didn't happen did it?

Can't believe it's at this stage of the season already - the run in guessing game...
All I know is we will win some games we should, win some games we shouldn't and lose some of both.

Que sera.

Not true though is it? I'd be more than happy with a point, especially if Arsenal can get something at castle greyskull. We would be just 2 points off 4th and have a stronger squad for the run in.

Doesn't work like that though. A loss for both ourselves and Liverpool is just the same as a win for us and Liverpool.

As the post suggested, that was just my opinion. I didn't say it was impossible. Unless other results go massively our way, I feel we need to win on Sunday.

Think we'll need 28 points. Simple math is win all the home games and draw the aways. Won't work like that, but there you go. 73 points will put us in with a shout.

Will take a draw at Spurs as I think Arsenal will get least a point at The Pit.
