Thanks for that, but my original point was that if we didn't strengthen in the window, we could find ourselves in a relegation battle if the teams below strengthened.

Just because they’ve signed players doesn’t mean they’ve strengthened. Will we have strengthened by getting Gomes and Gbamin back from injury?

Still find the idea we were ever going down a bit absurd.

Would only have been possible if we had kept Silva for 38 games and that was not gonna happen. Even though I sincerely doubt we'd have gone.
