The REAL PROBLEM this season

Lack of success in the transfer window in the summer, was a major problem, not just the lack of money, but also the brinkmanship that want between our clubs and others, the bloody mindedness of the manager, CEO resigning, the other debacle etc.

I hope lessons have been learned, i expect little or no money to be available for a year or two.

Lets get on with.

i wish fellaini would put some power into headers in the box, head back lad and power the [Poor language removed] home, think how good it would look with that hair, timeless like gullit with his dreads.

That's the problem. If he had a skin head, he would generate more power in his headers. His afro takes all the sting out of power. Hands up those that wants Mano to rid those locks????

no chance, look what happened to samson, and that jason lad at forest.

theres a hairy lad whos called fellaini
only got one eyebrow do you know
he's culturing a mighty mighty afro
let it grow let it grow let it grow
marouanne are you listening
while your hair is thickening
let it grow let it grow let it grow
*i believe thats the 1st xmas related chant this year.

Shocking management cost us. To see Moyesy come out and say it took him a couple of months to realise/find out that we weren't gonna be able to spend 30mil on 2 or 3 top class players is sickening. [Poor language removed] Keith Wyness, fat prick. He's the only one of the management I really think [Poor language removed] up royally. He was a grade A [Poor language removed] that guy. [Poor language removed] off Wyness.

The PR guy rang me and told me that Moyes had £17m to spend plus whatever he could muster from sales. So I'm now thinking that the AJ money won't come through till next season.

I respect you Ghost, i really do, but i cant take these figures that Moyes has to spend, or possibly, on board. I have said it for a while now that we are skint. Come January, i hope to avoid becoming embroiled in rumours of how much Moyes has, i made that mistake during the summer. Knowing me though, i will involve myself into yet another depressing unconclussive debate.

Thanks mate I appreciate that. But those figures were given to me by the PR man who's name escapes me at the moment, must be having a memory issue. Anyway he talked for about 45 minutes with me, about Moyes being the reason we have not signed anyone, and also told me that Phillip Green was a close ally of BK but had not sunk a single penny into the club.

But he did say that if it came to it where we were close to broke, he would sort the club out with a rescue package. So make of that what you want.

But I have heard conflicting views from senior members of most of the sites/forums I go on, and the outlook is bleak unless we move from Goodison. So if we do go to K, then its all for the good of the club. In the meantime we should not be expecting to match Sunderland and Villa for spending because we just don't have the backing, and don't have the status (ie a stadium that can generate cash) to back up our ambitions.

Cant see how moving ground will help. Ok, financially it may but we cannot even fill Goodison at the moment Ghost. This is my main concern. How are we expected to fill a stadium of 55,000 when we fail to fill a 40,000 stadium now? Why cant we get things sorted out on the playing field first then maybe move ground? We should be looking to compete with the so-called big four, not looking to build stadiums in Sunderland's shadow.

We are never going to attract financial backing at Goodison. Unless some mega rich Evertonian suddenly appears, it ain't going to happen. That's the sad fact we all need to accept. We ARE in the shadow of Liverpool. They WILL get major financial backing from some Dubai consortium. We won't. Why? because they are marketable, we are not. They have Gerrard, we don't. They have Torres, we don't. They have won the Champions League/Euro Cup 5 times, we haven't.

Goodison is still in the 80's expecting to see Kendall's boys again, the longer we leave it the worse its going to get.

Id rather stay like this and be mediocre and still love this club than move to a retail park souless JJB esque of a stadium and get champs league. Kirkby is not the way forward for this club. Re-develop GP, it can be done- I can feel it in me waters  Don't pander to the evil co-oerperation (similar to that in Prison Break) behind this club (Kenwright being the gulible but loveable fall guy) who stand to make billions by ruining this club.

Who is going to give us millions to redevelop GP? There is no financial profit in it for anyone.
