I would have loved to beat them & go above them but we achieve very little other than bragging rights for that.. You make a good point about 2009 but we also ended up staggering into that final with key players missing

I think after 10 years Moyes wants a trophy to show for his efforts & values that over the chance to finish between 6th - 10th in the league

As is a trophy. We would all like to win the cup. Playing a weakened side against Liverpool doesnt change anything for me. It really doesnt make us any more likely to beat Sunderland.

I was at the Chelsea game, we got battered for 90 minutes and managed to take it to penalties off the back of a brilliant piece of individual skill from Baines. Hardly something to brag about (unless there's a Chelsea fan getting rowdy).

Yes we beat Utd but take a look at the team they put out it was there fringe players and we still couldent beat them in open play

I was gutted when i saw the team sheet and didnt expect more than what we got. Feel really bad about it and a win on saturday wont solve it we had better win the cup if that selection is going to be justified.

It doesnt matter if Chelsea battered us - we won the game (I was at that game & actually thought we played well, I was also at the home tie & thought we had the better of that) .. its the FA Cup anyone who's left in it can win it

Well weve avoided injuries and suspensions which often occur from our derbies so we will see - sunderland has two important players sent off in their derby
