I'll say it now :

We will be poor against Sunderland and lose 2 or 3 nil.

Knowing our opponents will be the rs is ther worst thing that could of happened.

Moyes knows he can't get a win against them outside of the odd occasion at Goodison.

Thats why he put out the weakened team. Not just to keep some fresh for the Sunderland game but because he knew even if we put out a full strength team we'd roll over so he might as well write it off.

Unfortunatly he now knows if we get past Sunderland we have to play them in front of the world at Wembley.

He will be aware of the backlash over the derby result, and no way does he want to risk losing to them again.

And that will of filtered down to the players whether consciously or subconsciouly.

If i'm wrong, good. But i was thinking about this today and i can see it happening.

Or maybe its time to bust out the tinfoil hat!

Possibly, but then it's just one possible sequence of events among many.

You could just as easily say that drawing the sh!te in the semi's was the best possible thing to happen, because it will mean that we can properly fired up at the possibility of revenge.

Tonight will have a bearing too I reckon, getting a result against the Arse would put some belief back in the lads. We'll see.

You could do yeah.

But we've barely been fired up for a game against them in years so thats unlikely to change now.

We struggled to get up for our last 2 games at Wembley to be honest so history shows its unlikely to happen this time.

But like i said, i hope i'm wrong completly.

He cost us the momentum we had going into the game by fielding the weekend team and its carried on, wonder what result we can get on saturday at swansea who are really good at home.
