The 'Post Funny stuff' Thread

yes
BC, hell no. He's got some graft.
Sayle was irreverent, comedy for comedians, the difficult second album stuff. We couldn't find comedy at it's zenith about mother in law jokes and drag get up. Horror reinvents itself far more often...
I get it, Billy Connolly is a great comedian….. he’s just not my type of funny

What is your type of funny? (I liked your 'ace in the hole' quip)
Ace in the hole ???? I can’t remember that tbh 😂

I like different styles of comedy tbh, I like Gervais, I liked Dave Allen….. but I also laugh hysterically at times to Peter Kaye and Gary Delaney. I do love Bob Mortimer too. I like plenty, too many to mention really.

Bobby Chariot was a brilliant comedy character.

Many many years ago, saw him do standup a few times in small venues, one in a tiny theatre above a pub in London.

He was one of the funniest comedians I’ve ever seen. Razor sharp, ripping the locals to bits, but at the same time ripping his own crazy communist upbringing in Liverpool to bits too.

Youtube has the full episode of Alexei Sayle in Comic Roots. a series featuring different comedians, Sayle's episode is funny and some of it shot in Liverpool, including Stanley Park.
