Always liked Connolly,Sayle/Young Ones et al always tried too hard. Funny for me is early Woody Allen movies...

Ace in the hole ???? I can’t remember that tbh

I like different styles of comedy tbh, I like Gervais, I liked Dave Allen….. but I also laugh hysterically at times to Peter Kaye and Gary Delaney. I do love Bob Mortimer too. I like plenty, too many to mention really.
