I heard of something similar involving a local newscast in the US. Apparently the predicted snowfall didn't materialize the previous night and the female anchor asked the weather guy, "So where was the eight inches you promised me last night?" Understandably they had to cut to commercial.

How ropey is that pitch being so close to the edge of the forest? It'd be pretty un-enthusing to have to play a competitive qualifier on such a dour and standless pitch.
