Not sure if this is appropriate for this thread but I'll post it anyway. When our work get mega-busy (which is often at Royal Mail) the staff come round with tea & coffee as a courtesy. Just as a way for saying 'thank for your help during this busy time' thing. There's a new lad sitting next to me, who specifically asked for a black coffee from my manager, when she come round with the tray, he then said immediately after "Milk and 1 sugar aswel please" - So my manager replies "So, just a regular coffee you mean?" - He just looked puzzled, oblivious to what was going on, and put his head down when people started laughing, giving a fake laugh, he didn't have a clue.
'Black coffee with milk' - What a plonker. I was decked, it's tickled me all day. He went to Sunderland University too....God help us!
