My mate asked me to help him shift some crap down to the tip that had been clogging up his house for a while. When I got there he was in his scruffs but then started to put his ‘decent’ shoes on. In the van on the way to the tip I asked him why he was wearing the shoes, he said and I quote “the last time I was at the tip, there was a sign saying no trainers”. We got to the tip and he pointed out the sign. I had to tell him it read “No trailers!!” FFS he’s 41 as well.
