The positivity thread

Carlo in charge, DCL in a bit of form, Kean finally off the mark, Niasse's contract running out, 3/4 of the way to PL safety... but I think the most positive thing is looking to next season and what the manager will do with a squad that's a bit more his (as opposed to what he's inherited). Hopefully get a few new faces in and bin off some old ones.

Everton the gear.

Just echoing what a few on here are saying, we have Carlo, some great talent, new stadium! Write off this season, total rebuild in Summer, getting rid of loads of deadwood and finally against Newcastle we played some outstanding football, Carlo has seen and knows the weaknesses, I have faith we have the right mix now!

With Carlo we might yet use Mo to the best of his ability .Yes I am here to be mauled but there is a player in there and if as the mail says he is looking at Allan then Mo could make a come back here oh and Sandro ( he got off the mark this week) if the first goal is good for Moise then it could work wonders for Sandro.
Who prefers Italian wines to Spanish by the way? Hic

On the positives I think there are many and we are on the up , I trust this manager more than any other .May be Klippity but he is not available unless he is a closet blue.

Young, improving and scoring goals for Everton.

Think with DCL, Richarlison and Kean we have a pretty good attacking threat. That we are still managing to pick up points with a poor midfield gives me encouragement that we will improve. Even if Carlo isn't perfect, he is the best manager we have had in ages, a big step in the right direction.

My only concern is he has managed us for a short time and there is hope but two Humiliating defeats to his scalp already......
His subs played their part on Tuesday no doubt about it......

An optimistic way of looking at the defeats is that he hasn't been afraid to try and make us play football and give the players a chance. I'm guessing with somebody like Allardyce the defeats would be less likely, but also no hope of us trying to play the winning stuff. If we play percentage football forever we'll never win anything - we probably won't be relegated either.
