The way things are shaping up, you'd also have us down to be in the Europa League next year, which is f*cking BOSS and I won't hear anything to the contrary on it. Seriously lids, with all due respect, do one with the "extra games squad size blah blah" lark. I really hope and strongly believe I will be tasting my first european away with Everton next year. Come on blues, see it out ffs. *touches closest wood surface*
I am usually in the negging the Europa camp -- it would probably hurt our league chances. However our league chance is this year. It's now. I am less concerned about hurting our league chances next year because if we're in the Europa we're losing Fellaini (Moyes?) and a lot of our league chances anyway so what the hell why not enjoy some mini-Euro nights? Plus we get almost 60 thousand pounds for winning the Europa!

Positives for me:

A glimpse of a right-sided attack when we had Coleman and Mirallas both fit.

Baines. Say no more.

Our general style of play has been (mostly) enjoyable to watch.

Most of all ... we're in with a shout. We watch this blasted game despite the fact that the deck is so stacked against a team such as ours that you could argue we're all out of our tiny little minds for bothering. Even so ... it's Feb and we are a single game swing (albeit with a three goal GD swing as well) out of fourth. We keep screwing up as well and yet they don't get that far ahead of us somehow. It somehow feels like we are more involved and, coupled with the fact we can beat anyone, makes it all rather exciting so far.

COYBFFSGF.

Where did you hear that? Vic is a boss, I like his style.

There've been a lot of great positives to this season, 99% of which have been mentioned, so I'll just add that the promise for next year is my biggest positive. As long as Moyes stays - and I'd like to think that's pretty likely - we have a team with quality all over the shop. Fellaini may well leave along with Johnny, which I came to terms with ages ago and is fine by me as we'll get a massive combined wedge that can be invested in two or three top class pros to replace him. I believe we're a class striker, (could well still be Jelavic, you never know) a replacement for Fellaini, plus some cover on the wing and at centre mid away from being a team that can compete on all fronts.

Lots of positives this season IMO. The point at man city was quite a high point for me. Mainly due to the fact that yes we'v taken points off them before but this was no backs against the wall defending for 90mins, we deserved the point and were equal to them through large parts of the game.

Coleman, jags (back to his best) ossie, fell, vic. The only sour point really has been jelavic.
Very optimistic for next season, don't buy the "this is our chance " this season rumblings. Fellaini or no Fellaini I think next season could well be the big one given moyes stays and can bring in the few remaining bits of the jigsaw.

I think we all need to get positive and be proud of how the boys have done this season.

1. We have played the most attractive football in the premier league.
2. We have one of the best left backs in the world.
3. Mirallas is a player with natural pace who takes people on a player we have been dying to see.
4. In Felliani we have a genuine player every team in the league is afraid of.
5. We have achieved this the right way by buying smart and not paying stupid wages paying mercenaries.

I agree with all of them, other than number 1.

On occasion we may have played some attractive football, but it has been mixed with a lot of crap. Can’t help but think this idea that we always play attractive football is being greatly exaggerated. If you were to ask fans of other clubs who plays the most attractive football, not many would name Everton.

Baines has provided some genuine jaw-to-the-floor moments this season. Best player I've seen for us in beards.

Playing some of the best togger I've seen Everton play since the '80's.

Looking down at the shabite.
