The Pains and Joys of Being a Blue

How about you and the others celebrate it instead of having a go at fellow fans then?

Its all just words on a forum innit, hardly worth getting bothered about considering we just had a great win.

I'm gonna celebrate it when i go round my fellow blues house later and have a few. And i could still give an honest opinion on the internet regarding Evertons position.

What???

Did anyone else like how everytime the camera went to Mancini in the second half you could see him say "[Poor language removed] off"?

So if City would have taken their chances we'd have been in that game?

Decent result against a CL bound club. But apart from a bit of graft they bossed Everton until the hour mark.
Fair comment Dave. It's true. But if you're being objective we could have said the same about a lot of our games this season. We've dropped enough points in games we've bossed to have been in the top 4 comfortably. We didn't score enough in those games because a.) we weren't clinical enough, and b.)we weren't good enough in the final third. Just like City today.

Take it whatever way you want. I'm sure if you think through that match again you'll see that we were fortunate to be in it at one stage. They had gilt edged chance after chance. We were poor for the most part but won it on graft and emotion.

Ok, maybe the comment could have been better timed, but is there some cult at work here that cant see all that?
Gilt edged chances were Viera's volley over the bar (shocking miss tbh) and Toure's one on one with Howard.

Thought Toure had a great chance before the break to get a second before Jagielka snaked out a leg. They could and should have been three up and out of sight at HT.

I know people dont want to hear it, but the two games against City this season had them playing most of the football and us soaking up a lot of pressure and getting by on spirit. I think this is what's getting to me, tbh. You can see this season the way City's riches are now beginning to be used properly and - despite the double over them - I can see them stretching off into the distance leaving us way behind in terms of quality of play and trophy hauls.

It's just wrong: City should always be in Everton's shadow. They wont be for too much longer.

Give you that one

Yaya Toure. David Silva. Kompany.

All amazing, thought Dzeko was utter gash, but but my god how big is that lad.
