Even if we lost all our games from now on we still would finish 7th with our highest points total in the premier league, our longest winning streak in many years and a possible Europa league place having played some lovely football and gone out trying to win every game.

Who would have been pleased with that at the start of the season?

We had a loss, it happnens, just need to put it behind us and figure out how to win the last four
99% of people, me included.

I think the mistake some have made is that after beating Arsenal, they assumed we had 4th sewn up no matter what. Perhaps the players did too.

We only need 6 points to guarantee Europe and finish above the previous boss.

I know we need to aim higher, but in a managers first year? I think that's good.

To be fair the match against CP was a game that we can't afford to not getting all 3 points. It was the easiest game out of the remaining fixture.

The most important moment and we slipped up.

To be fair without those 7 wins in a row we wouldn't be looking at Europa let alone Champions League. Look at the bigger picture man.

Chatting to a Hull supporter today, they want Arsenal to finish fourth so they are guaranteed Europa league next season. Might not go for it on Sunday and rest a few players.
Surely Hull would get European football if Arsenal loose the cup final and finish 5TH in the league as well as both 5th and a cup final win give Europa league spot to Arsenal or does it free up another league place?

Bring back the old system I say Champions league for 1 team Uefa cup for the others and the C.W.C. for the cup winners. And while we are on it, none of this dropping out the champions league if you finish 3rd in your group only to get another stab at silver wear in the Europa league

Despite last nights blip, we are still in the running for fourth with four games remaining and Arsenal players have a cup final they'll want to be uninjured for. We are going places with Roberto and losing one game in eight to a team that beat Chelsea and hadn't conceded for three games isn't gonna change that!

1 point off of 4th with a better goal difference with 4 games left our best points total since the prem started just come off of a 7 game winning streak all whilst playing some damn sexy footy at times. plus some boss youngsters breaking in to the team.

all in bobby's 1st season!

the futures bright the futures blue.

Yes, But if Arsenal finish fifth and they win the FA Cup the Europa league place will go to the 7th place team instead of Hull.

Were going to Europe next season and we are still in with a real chance of it being in either competition.
5 games left, moaning about being too attacking, great players, great football, great points total..
Plenty to be optimistic about, just a shame we handed over the advantage for our CL push so meekly.

I'm in, it's been a great season and Roberto kicked it up a gear at Wigan in tougher end of season scenarios.

Wnning streaks bring their own pressure - well that's gone now - time to regroup and go balls out with a bit of "sin miedo" for these last games. Whatever they say Arsenal will be distracted by the FA cup final - I fancy us till mathematically it ain't on .... IT'S ON!

Gerrin to 'em blue boys.

So long as the result of one match means we can still do it I am in. We have concede an advantage it took 6 weeks to acquire but it is not all over yet. Come on Everton players and fans alike. We would have been made up with the thought of this position last August.

Optimistic POV Lukaku playing like last night will have a lot of the teams that could afford him wary about if he's worth 20m when he can't play against teams that park the bus or with his back to goal very effectively, lets face it at chelsea or city he will see that a lot more same playing for a massive Spanish team etc

similar Barca will see Dele struggle like he has done a few times and think 'is he ready for us' yet
