Manchester City losing.

Looks like they are out the title race now so by the time they come to us they could just be going through the motions.

It all hinges on Sunday now.....please, Jelly....you will always be a hero of mine for the slotting of winter/spring 2012.

Make yourself an Everton legend, la'

;)

Ok, we were really poor tonight and dropped 3 big points.
The start of The Optimistic Thread........

[Poor language removed] me - I'd hate to see the pessimistic thread.

How about, "I thought we were great tonight and ....."

Palace were in form-still are I guess-and they played well. It's one game, if it comes back to bite us it comes back to bite us. Three wins and a draw will do us if Arsenal lose one game. One. Not some crazy thing given tonight's events.

Even if we lost all our games from now on we still would finish 7th with our highest points total in the premier league, our longest winning streak in many years and a possible Europa league place having played some lovely football and gone out trying to win every game.

Who would have been pleased with that at the start of the season?

We had a loss, it happnens, just need to put it behind us and figure out how to win the last four

Puts hand up.

I still think we will do it and pip arsenal to 4th on gd. They aren't good away from home and west ham gifted them the 3 points last night. They will face much sterner tests and I'm confident they will drop at least 2 points in the next 4 games. The only down side is Ramsey's return for them is a big boost but at the same time they can't rely on him for 90 minutes every game and risk him picking up a knock.
We need to be up for the run in and I think the players will be. Man utd and city are big games and we perform well in the big games, excluding Liverpool. Southampton and hull I see no reason why we can't win away, soton are having a big dip in form and have lost Rodriguez. The palace result is disappointing but being below arsenal might just suit us as the pressure is off in a strange way.

7 wins in 8 games mate! It's still good!

To be fair the match against CP was a game that we can't afford to not getting all 3 points. It was the easiest game out of the remaining fixture.

The most important moment and we slipped up.

Even in defeat, we were good to watch, and went for it.

More often than not, we will win those games.

Sometimes you have to credit the other team, they finished well, and defended like warriors, fair play.

Bring on United.
