As it's the British Olympics I predict that Bolt will be so worried about getting a slow start he'll go too fast and be DQ'd for a false start

Chris Hoy only picked to defend two of his three Beijing golds, with Jason Kenny picked for the individual sprint.
Hoy's reaction to the news shows just how much of a true sportsman he is.
"We found out a few weeks ago, it was not out of the blue now. They made the right call," said Hoy.
"It is not about individual ambition it's about the team getting the most number of gold medals.
"Therefore you could say you are spreading yourself a bit thin by taking part in three events but that is not why they have made the decision. They have picked the best sprinter."

Now I'm going to put my cynical hat on here for a moment. Gregory Bauge is pretty much unbeatable in the mens sprint. No one has beaten him for something like six years. I think Brailsford knows, just as Hoy knows, that they aren't going to beat him, so they're saving his legs for the team sprint and the keiren.
That's not to say Jason Kenny isn't a fantastic rider, because he undoubtably is, but I think whoever we picked would be fighting for silver bar a major, major upset.
