The Oldies Thread

Making the step from a blissful happy primary school were all the teachers were really nice to the first year of comprehensive were it felt like I’d been sent to borstal. Teachers hated the kids and the feeling was mutual. Half of them were conning a living and you’d hope they wouldn’t get away with it these days.
We had a maths teacher for the first 3 years who taught me nothing. He’d just sit and read the bible all lesson while we we sat in total silence. The were loads of these types. Totally failed generations of kids and now they’ve got their feet up on their pensions.

We never had a maths teacher for a whole year in 1970, i was 14, the P.e teacher took us for maths,
Friday was double maths then double P.e.
We played football on the yard all afternoon for the whole year!!
