There's one in Bury (and another in Leeds) that has three floors of old arcade games. It was £12 (iirc) and all the machines were free to play. Brilliant, cheap way to spend an afternoon! Beer and very cheap eats also available. Took me right back

My dad bought a Ford Prefect in 1961, the year I was born, and passed it on to me 18 years later. I learned to drive in it but couldn't wait to get rid of it for a more 'modern' car. While they were great cars in 1961 I found them hard to drive in 1979.

Only used for important occasions. He still cycled to work. He used to cover the engine with an overcoat during winter. Driving tests didn't come into Ireland until the mid sixties so he never got a driving lesson nor did a driving test . Looking back he was a very poor driver.You had a car in ‘61? Posh that mate
