The Old Chestnuts

If we lose tonight I am not coming on this forum. Why? Because I can't be arsed reading all the "Old Chestnut" comments that are going to suddenly appear again.

Expect to read:

"Moyes Out"
"Has Moyes taking us as far as he can?"
"The board havent backed the manager"

When in reality there is only element that can be blamed for us not progressing and that is poor ref decisions in Europe again. Oh and poor finishing by the star striker.

When I noticed that this forum was going to be the extension for ToffeeWeb I immediately realised that the negative vibe over there is most certainly going to translate over here, god only knows why the powers that be agreed to join forces with such a cynical organisation, I can't really see the benefit, unless it was a financial one. If that's the case, what can you do?

Some may say don't post on here if you don't like it, well that may well happen. Such a shame we opened the floodgates to the rabble.

A forum is about opinions, you more than most should know that. Sometimes you agree sometimes you dont- its life get on with it.

I don't think Ghost wants you to leave. But as you've said yourself.. you experienced the attitude of the TW forum and the majority (not all) of the blues there..

I read Ghost thread as a fear that this might happen to this site as well. Heck, most posters here originates from TW so I guess we're proof that not all coming from there is crap.

And even before this site was linked to by TW we had heated discussions about various things and didn't see eye-to-eye on all things.. but when it matters we all want what's best for the club and therefore we can see passed that.. that's was hard for many on TW.. if you didn't think as they did... you weren't a "True Blue".

The vast majority on here came from Toffee Web originally. Like myself we found that to be the best run website of this type on the net serving EFC, the O/S being total crap. This place was set up, not because of the other postees on TW but because of the outlandish actions of the site owner. It transpired that the leading postees moved woith the mods to this place, we were all club supporters as opposed to the depressing line taken by the mother site at TW. We flourished while the old forum burned. No one has the right to ask anyone else to leave, unless of course the other person is a rs. We try and debate EFC in a civilised fashion, most will support the club line for the majority of the time.

People can either love this place or hate it, that is a personal choice but no one can say that they don't get a chance to debate with one and all in an open forum. Ghost would not ask you to leave Blue, he can't do that any way mate even if he wanted to. Incidenatally I have enjoyed your posts since you arrived here, you have much to add to this site (y)

Shut up Ghost and stop whinging. Your the only negative one I can see.

Name one new member who regulary posts who is negative since we became TW's forum. Go on, name one.....Cant? Didn't think so.

Also lets not forget the vast majority on here came from the original TW forum anyway.

Also as for the financial jibe, if you must know, we get sweet FA for being TW's forum. In fact, I have to pay more for the server as a result.

If you want to leave. Go. Sick of hearing your constant threats.
