The window's been open a week and Ipswich have added Ben Godfrey & Jadon Philogene to their ranks.

They are making serious moves to avoid relegation.

Us ???

But yanno January is a notoriously difficult window 🤔
Do you think we should have tried to re sign Ben Godfrey?

Just looking at their fixtures and I doubt they'll pick up more than 3/4 points before their game against us in March.

Ipswich will fall apart too, and S'ton are already gone.
I have been looking at the Ipswich fixtures from now until the end of the season and I think they may struggle to pick up points.

Lovely to wake up this morning knowing that today's match won't increase the threat of relegation and merely represents the possibility of our greatest cup humiliation in quarter of a century live on national television.

If we did lose, It’d probably be the thing that forced the Dyche issue.

Personally, I think we’ll win it and Dyche will seize the opportunity to proclaim this monumental victory a change in our fortunes - and on we rumble.

It’s called the Nottingham forest method

Spend money and bring players in and worry about the consequences later

So many on this forum seem to overlook that Forest knew they had the sale of Johnson to get them back on the right side of FFP.

If the Tottenham bid came at the start of the window, not the end, then Forest would have never failed - in fact, as highlight in the report, if Forest had accepted the lower offers from Athletico or Brentford, they wouldn’t have failed.

Between Forest and Everton, only one club has been short sighted, poor in the transfer market with a disregard for FFP & it isn’t Forest.
