The Now-Irrelevant 2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

We’re a shambles and will likely go down if he stays. The uncertainty will put players off signing in this window which makes it worse.

Baffling

The paranoia is making me think there is some kind of sabotage going on because some of the decisions being made over the years are just blatantly regressive.

That recruitment department especially , if we needed a new goalie as a high priority we would sign three centre mids and loan a goalie on deadline day .

A lot of fans would like a new , decent left back, our director of football said in the summer that Dwight McNeil can cover that position, I mean….at this rate we will probably sign a new one in 2028.

This club is a social experiment.
I’ve never known a biggish club’s fans to be treated the way we’ve been.
Everything that can go tts up usually does!!
Potter? Not sure about him anyway but still a disappointment.
The villa player goes to Ipswich. Maybe we can’t pay £21 mill plus add ons?
I mean come on,
This lot need to pull their finger out fast.

I think its largely incomptence and having no money essentially. We haven't been able to get targets due to money and incomptence. Even now the excuse for not sacking him straight away is TFG were worried about PSR but its been obvious we needed a change for months. And without one and some additions we are in a world of trouble.

Get the feeling the club is going to come out of this window perhaps slightly weaker than which it started the window. I mean that in relation to others strengthening their squads like we're seeing with Ipswich.

Philogene ironically won't probably be going in as a starter for them straight away, he would've been here. Signing that could've gone either way.

Also a big problem in the short term with Beto knowing the club wants him gone but he might have to start the Villa game if DCL is "unavailable" and Broja issue dosen't clear up.

Spurs actually looked decent at the back tonight for first time in ages so more confidence and they'll be difficult to beat so again it feels like 2-3 games with points available are just going to be dismissed, eventually a signing or two will be made in last week of the window and then everything is staked on the Leicester home game.

Would be disappointing from the new ownership and a very dangerous game to play with the premier league status.
